Do you charge extra to come out to Delacour?
No. Free towing covers the full drive from Calgary to Delacour and everywhere else in our service area. There is no rural surcharge, no fuel charge, and nothing deducted from your offer because of the distance. The number we quote on the phone is the number you receive in your hand at pickup.
How much will I get for a vehicle that has been sitting on my property for years?
It depends on the year, make, and how much of the vehicle is still intact. A truck that has been sitting for two or three years but still has a solid frame and a repairable drivetrain might bring $500–$2,500. A rusted-out non-runner that has been there a decade might bring $300–$600 in scrap metal value alone. Call us with the details and we will give you an honest number.
What if the vehicle is not near the road and is hard to access?
Tell us when you call. We deal with vehicles on rural properties regularly — parked in fields, sitting in the back of a yard, or tucked behind a shop on a range road property. We bring the right equipment to handle vehicles in difficult spots and our drivers are experienced working on acreage and agricultural properties.
Can I sell a vehicle with incomplete or missing paperwork?
Call us first and describe what you have. Rural vehicles — particularly older farm trucks and work vehicles in the Delacour area — often have ownership documents that are out of date, incomplete, or simply lost. We handle this kind of situation regularly. Bring your photo ID and whatever documentation you can find and we will work through what is needed.
Do you buy hail-damaged vehicles in Rocky View County?
Yes. The area east of Calgary gets hit by hail during summer storm season — June and July in particular can bring serious hail events through Rocky View County and Wheatland County. Whether your vehicle took minor cosmetic damage or was written off entirely, we will make a fair offer based on its actual current condition.
Can you pick up more than one vehicle in a single trip?
Yes. If you have two or three vehicles on your Delacour property that you want cleared at the same time, call us and describe what you have. We will give you combined pricing and coordinate one trip so you are not dealing with multiple pickup appointments across multiple days.
Do you buy vehicles with a lien?
Yes. It adds a step to the process — we need to contact the lienholder and arrange a proper discharge before the title can be transferred — but we handle lien vehicles regularly and know how to do it correctly. Call us and tell us the situation and we will walk you through what is required.
What happens to my vehicle after you take it?
It goes to a certified Alberta recycling facility. All fluids are drained and disposed of in compliance with Alberta Environment requirements. Usable parts are pulled and resold. The remaining steel and metals go to smelting. We follow Alberta Recycling Management Authority guidelines on every vehicle we process — nothing is dumped, nothing is left to leach into the ground.
How quickly can you get out to Delacour once I accept an offer?
In most cases same day or the following morning. We run routes east of Calgary regularly, including through the Chestermere, Langdon, and Delacour corridor. If you call before noon, a same-day pickup is often possible.
